About Modern Hotel
The Hotel offers you really nice, bright rooms with soft and relaxing colors in a special area which allows you to get the feel of the real Paris.
Around the hotel, a multifaceted Paris awaits you, featuring historical sites, new urban developments, nightlife and trendy entertainments.
Just some historical sites close to us:
The hotel is 3 minutes from the 'Pére Lachaise Cemetery': a haven of peace and greenery.
Originally it was a property of the Jesuits, and then in 1804 it was turned into a graveyard by architect Brongniart.
Pére Lachaise hosts famous graves: those of Chopin, Jim Morrison, La Fontaine, Daudet, Sarah Bernardt, Colette, Proust, Moliére, Champollion ... In 1871, and the Cemetery unfortunately became notorious for the Mur des Fédérés: a wall against which more than 2,000 Commune fighters were shot.
Pére Lachaise has been described as 'a city of the dead in the middle of the city of the living'.
We are located 8 minutes from the Bastille area.
After the Revolutionary events of 1789, the Bastille name is both a symbol and a myth.
The Colonne de Juillet (July Column), erected in 1830 in memory of the victims of the 'Trois Glorieuses' riots, contains two funerary vaults; it is topped by the Genie of Liberty, who flies away, breaking his irons and holding the torch of civilization in his hand.
In the Bastille area, shops, cafés and restaurants have multiplied, particularly since the new Opera was inaugurated.
In Rue de Lappe and Rue de la Roquette many shops, restaurants and nightclubs are available for shopping and entertainment.
Please Note: We have a 48hrs cancellation Policy
Please note: We will pre-authorise the first night after booking.
