Fiji law requires that a “ Register must be kept & maintained at all times” Fiji Hotels and Guest Houses Act (Cap 195)
You will be required to produce the following information before you can or as you check-in at the Reception desk:

- Passport No / or Photo ID No. (photocopies will be taken)

Deposit Policy

Room bookings will only be confirmed by way of deposit, Deposits must be made simultaneously at the time of making the reservation; in some circumstances approval may be given for a Credit Card pre-authorisation to be taken with the full payment of your stay settled at the time of check-out

We accept all major credit cards – however a non-refundable surcharge is applicable on all credit card payments regardless if the reservation is cancelled at a later date:

Limit of liability for loss of or injury to guests’ property:

15. A manager is not liable to make good to any guest of his, any loss of or injury to any property brought to the hotel to a greater amount than $120 unless the guest proves that-

(a) the property was stolen, lost or damaged through the default, neglect or wilful act of the manager or his employee; or

(b) the property was deposited by or on behalf of the guest expressly for safe keeping with the manager or with an employee of his authorised or appearing to be authorised for the purpose, and was, if so required by the manager or that employee, in a container fastened or sealed by the depositor; or

(c) at a time after the guest arrived at the hotel, either the property was offered for deposit as aforesaid and the manager or his employee refused to receive it, or the guest wished to offer the property for deposit but, through the default of the manager or his employee, was unable to do so.

About Colo-I-Suva Rainforest Eco Resort

Colo-i-Suva (pronounced Tholo-ee-Suva) Rainforest Eco Resort, is located right on Princes Road, Colo-i-Suva , opposite the Police Post and next to the fabulous Colo-I-Suva Forest Park.

Colo-i-Suva Rainforest Eco Resort is approximately 15kms from the airport and 9kms from Suva. Trips to town are easy, either by taxi or local bus ( the bus stops right outside our door) .

Colo-i-Suva Rainforest Eco Resort offers a whole range of accommodation choices. And all in an unspoiled rainforest setting brimming with Fiji birdlife fully at ease in its natural habitat.

With Accommodation options ranging from a simple room and shared facilities to a well-appointed Lodge and Queen-size 4-poster, you’ll feel right at home too.

All accommodation is fully serviced daily and every guest has all-day access to an indoor/outdoor lounge, restaurant and bar hub famous for both its chiefly bure design and spectacular views of our tranquil deep-water lake.

Our Resort has 12 different room types across 22 rooms, ranging from Family Bure options, through to Studio rooms and Budget room options. We have a small 25 pax Conference room and 3 function venues for small groups, Poolside bar, Verandah bar and Gazebo ( we sometimes hire our the Restaurant balcony that host about 20 people)

Raintree Restaurant & Bar - Suva’s only Lakeside Dining

Open daily from 7:00am to 9:30pm (Last orders for meals at 8:30pm).

Food and beverage is served all day, the restaurant is renowned for its beautiful water views, delicious fresh local food and warm ambience – we feature the best of traditional Fijian food in Suva.

The Raintree Restaurant and Bar is modelled and decorated along the lines of a traditional chiefly bure, and is one of the finest examples of this style of architecture anywhere in Fiji. Together with its lakeside verandah and outdoor cafe it seats up to 60 people. The lake is fed by natural springs, and having started life as a quarry, is 34 metres deep, and teeming with tilapia and grass carp (the occasional eel can be seen too). Feel free to feed the fish with the fish food provided. Spot the King Fishers feeding as you dine at our lakeside restaurant balcony.

Cancellation Policy

Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 1 day before arrival. After this date, charges will be applied by the property up to the first nights cost of the reservation, unless otherwise stated in the property’s conditions. Deposits paid are non refundable.
