Lua Lua Hostel is about 25 km from Gran Canaria Airport.
By car: it takes about 25 minutes
When you leave the airport take the motorway GC-1 towards Las Palmas de GC.
You will enter the city on Avenida de Canarias (better known as Avenida Maritima). Continue to take the ramp to Avenida Mesa y Lopez. Upon reaching the roundabout, continue straight. Take the lefthand road opposite the Naval Base onto Juan Manuel Gonzolez Duran. Follow this street until you reach Galicia street. Turn left and continue along (a few meters it becomes Thomas Miller Street. Turn left again on Calle Fernando Guanarteme, then head straight to the corner with calle Bernardo de la Torre which is Lua Lua Hostel.
Find parking space in Las Palmas can takes some time, in the worst case first pay parking is just 100 metres away (Parking Las Canteras)
You do not really need a car to know the city of Las Palmas, although it is helpful if you would like to explore the island of Gran Canaria.
By taxi: You can take a taxi from the airport. The cost is about 35 Euros.
Our taxi: We can pick you up at the airport and take you directly to Lua Lua for 25 Euros (maximum 4 people). Please, let us know if you want to use this service.
By bus: Line 60 takes you directly from the airport to the Santa Catalina Park every hour. The price is about 3 Euros.
Parque de Santa Catalina is about 5500 meters and it takes you about 7 minutes walk to Lua Lua Youth Hostel. Head first Nicolas Estevanez Street and turn right towards the beach of Las Canteras. Cross the street at Fernando Guanarteme. Turn left and look for the corner with calle Bernardo de la Torre 50.
By bike: If you are travelling around the island with the bike, we are sorry but we don't have space to store extra bike.
