Liked: The staff (particularly Mary) were very friendly and were able to listen to my bad jokes which is always good. Very nice atmosphere and great service. Would recommend anyone to stay there.
Disliked: Location is a bit awkward for bus/subway but otherwise everything else was spot on

Liked: Leaving the property was perhaps the best part of staying.
Disliked: Where do I start. Rude staff. Very poor room. Unhygienic toilets. After complaint about the state of the room I was 'removed' from Hotel Under Police Escort.

Liked: Location
Disliked: No atmosphere. Never saw any other backpackers only weird homeless looking people. The place seemed like a halfway house. Whole place is really old, and smells like mothballs. Spent as little time there as possible. Do not recommend.

Liked: The breakfast was great; the front desk staff person Anne was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable; the dining room staff were wonderful. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was very close to a couple of museums we wanted to see and the Art School. The neighbourhood was nice.
Disliked: Walking up the hill :)
