About Merzouga Hostel
People come to Merzouga to fulfill their dreams of riding a camel into the dunes to witness the majestic Sahara sunsets. Let us help you turn those dreams into an affordable reality.
Merzouga Hostel is a family friendly lodge. We accommodate solo travellers, groups and even families (under special request). We supply all bedding, hot showers, free breakfast and wifi. There is also an outdoor area to be enjoyed.
Youssef, the hostel Manager, is always happy to help you with planning your stay and even to assist you in arranging your bucket list tours. He is an original Berber and is very proud to share with you his Berber heritage, customs and hospitality.

Location Information
Merzouga is a small Moroccan town in the Sahara Desert. It is at the gateway of a huge expanse of sand dunes north of the town.
There are many attractions to experience in Merzouga. Go on a camel trek into the desert to witness the magnificent Sahara sunsets, visit the fossil fields, 4x4 drive or quad bike ride the dunes. Hike to Erg Chebbi summit to watch the sunrise, sand board down the dunes, enjoy a traditional Berber sauna or have an overnight stay in a desert camp. Welcome all!
Cancellation Policy
Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 1 day before arrival. After this date, charges will be applied by the property up to the first nights cost of the reservation, unless otherwise stated in the property’s conditions. Deposits paid are non refundable.
