Important Information

1. Check-in time: from 15:00 to 19:00
If you arrive earlier than the check-in time, you can store your luggage in the luggage room.
2. Check-out time: by 12:00
After you check out, you can store your luggage in the luggage room.
3. Reception hour: from 8:00-12:00 and 13:30-19:00.
4. Payment: cash (JPY) or credit cards (Visa, Master, UC, Amex, Union pay, JCB)
5. Cancellation policy:
(1). If you wish to cancel or change your reservation, we will require 2 days advance notice before the date of your arrival (e.g. if your arrival date is on the 5th, the latest time to cancel your booking without charge is on the 3rd before 7 p.m Japan time), otherwise you will be charged the cancellation fee of one night's stay. Cancellations made with two days advance notice or more will not be charged.
(2). If you fail to check in as scheduled, we will cancel all your bookings and you will be charged the cancellation fee of one night’s stay.
(3). During your stay, we also require two days advance notice, should you want to change the duration of your stay. As long as you notify us two days before, we will refund the fee you have already paid.
(4).For groups of 5 or more people, we may require additional conditions when you make a reservation.

For over 1000 years people from all levels of society, including retired emperors and aristocrats, have made the arduous pilgrimage to Kumano. These pilgrims used a network of routes, now called the Kumano Kodo.Walking the ancient Kumano Kodo is a fantastic way to experience the unique cultural landscape of Kumano's spiritual countryside. The Kumano Kodo pilgrimage routes were registered as UNESCO World Heritage as part of the "Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range" property.

Yunomine Onsen Hot spring was discovered about 1,800 years ago, and it is thought to be one of the oldest hot springs in Japan. And it is an integral part of the over 1000 year old Kumano pilgrimage tradition. Pilgrims performed hot water purification rituals in these piping hot mineral waters after their long journey in preparation to worship at Kumano Hongu Taisha.


This guesthouse is adjoining Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Routes (World Heritage). There are 2 indoor hot springbaths and a open-air bath(open-air bath will be available form Oct. of 2017) in the guesthouse, and a public hot spring called "Tsuboyu" (World Heritage) just minutes walk away. There is luggage storage space at the property. The guesthouse offers free rice. Rental bicycle is also available.

Kansai International Airport is 2 hours and 30 minutes drive away from the property.

Cancellation Policy

Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2 days before arrival. After this date, charges will be applied by the property up to the first nights cost of the reservation, unless otherwise stated in the property’s conditions. Deposits paid are non refundable.
