It’s location on the edge of the sea provides Kenmare with seafood that is quite simply the best.

On 1st July 2008, Kenmare was chosen “The Best Kept Town in Ireland 2008”. The picturesque County Kerry town, one of Ireland’s few designed towns, also won the overall prize in the 2000 Tidy Towns Competition. Founded in 1670 by Sir William Petty, the unique charm and inherent beauty of the town remains unchanged.
