Liked: Helpful and friendly staff, room was very clean with a great shower. Wi-fi worked in our room though slow by European standards. Communal area comfortable though quiet. Secure as entrance was always locked and monitored by the front desk. Right in the middle of Candlearia, so close to the attractions at that end of town.
Disliked: Room was a bit spartan, could have done with some coat hooks or shelves to put stuff on. I wouldn't class this as a party hotel, which suited us but maybe not for all. One computer terminal for the whole hostel seems odd.

Liked: This is a great hostel with a great vibe and decent common area. It seemed to be easy to meet other travellers. The staff are awesome, really friendly and knowledgable about various activities.
Disliked: its built in a very tradition style meaning you are likely to get woken up early. When they advertise a room with private bathroom it's not ensuite as you might imagine, it's a bathroom upstairs! they should make this clear when you book

Liked: Bathrooms were cleaned regularly, helpful staff, good location
Disliked: When other guests are noisy outside it's very easy to hear in the room, plastic sheet over matress (in doulbe room) makes for sweaty nights, very small kitchen, only window is out to the floor, so you have to keep the curtain closed or everybody can see right in

Liked: Compared to other hostels in the Area like cranky crocs and Su candeleria, this one is much nicer. The rooms are minimal but immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable and the showers were hot and strong. The staff is friendly. And this place is perfect quiet to sleep in. There are hammocks and. Common era to meet travelers, but this is not a place to party. The beer/breakfast was impressively cheap as well. The location is ideal as there are no bars on the block so you can get a great night of sleep. I imagine there is no party hostel in bogota as it is new to the tourist circuit.
Disliked: It was quiet.

Liked: Friendly staff, good location and options of private rooms with washrooms
Disliked: That you couldn't bring your own alcohol in without a bottling fee, and the wifi was intermittent to the point of non-existent in the rooms
