Liked: The property is in a great location central to the city close to restaurants bars shops & tourist sites. Its is extremely clean with a nice kitchen and lounge area. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful

Disliked: I arrived an hour early and was told to wait a few minutes while my room was cleaned. After 45 minutes I was told the cleaner had only just finished lunch (which the staff ate in front of me while I was waiting) and that the room would be ready in another half an hour. Its totally unprofessional to make me wait so long after saying it would be ready shortly, If staff had simply said it wont be ready for an hour or so I could have gone for a walk or done some of the things I needed to do.

Liked: I stayed this hostel 5 nights. Very clean, stylish and staff are very nice. They treated me like a friend, rather than a business attitude. It was very fun. Sometime we shared dinner time at a hostel dining, sharing meals, having conversation. They taught me how to eat a sliced coconut, with salt and baking powder. It was new taste for me,very interesting. The bar in the hostel is also good place. I met a French couple by chance there. We talked various topics such as cultural differences among countries,France,Japan and Cambodia. Then we went to dinner outside. I rode on the back of her motorbike and went, feeling nice night breeze in Phnom Penh.I went to Choeung Ek,so called the Killing Field,by bicycle during the stay. You can get there less than 2 hours unless getting lost. When I was in dining a staff lent me her PC so I could check how to go there and about other things in Phnom Penh. Especially I liked Meta House, which sets up many social events. I will visit Sla hostel again in near future not as a tourist but as a friend. I'm looking forward to eating delicious breakfast and drinking mojito.

Disliked: Bed doesn't have a book light. No big locker on a room.
