Map and Directions

Tips for arriving at Books Hostel:
From Santos Dummont Airport, a cab is your best option. It’s very close, and it costs around R$15,00. So close that you can actually walk, but I advise you not to with bags and without knowing the city.
From the international airport (Galeão/ Antonio Carlos Jobim), on the other hand, it’s a little more difficult.
You will always be able to take a cab, but it’s a bit expensive, about R$40,00, that can easily turn into R$60,00 during rush hour. A cheaper option is to take bus number 2018 or 2145 (company REAL AUTOBUS). You will get off at Santos Dummond airport and then take a cab or another bus. My suggestion is to take a cab.
Believe us, we just want you to start your vacation in Rio on the right track!
