About House de Baiana

House de Baiana Hostel offers beautiful views of the lagoa from our 3 story double terraced layout. Enjoy the bar, bbq, the hammocks, lounge chairs, outside dining/yoga patio or kayak & stand up launch for the rising of the sun over the island.

House de Baiana Hostel is located in the region Lagoa da Conceicao, Florianópolis the benefits from having the lake out in front and lush green mountains with amazing hikes out the back. We are positioned a 20 minutes walk away from Lagoa centre or a short bus ride or a 5 minute taxi. You can also take a taxi boat from right outside the hostel to the centre of Lagoa or to Barra da Lagoa with 9 km stretch of pristine beachfront with great surfing conditions. In the area you can fishing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, sand-boarding, surfing, hiking, restaurants, clubs, bars, street markets and plenty more which we can recommend and help organise your trip.

Accommodation Information

Have fun choosing from our 6 rooms on the 1st Floor: Double Bed with Ensuite; the 2nd Floor: Family Suite with Queen and Bunk, 3-Bed Mixed Dorm, 4-Bed Female Dorm, 6-Bed Mixed Dorm; the 3rd Floor: 5-Bed Mixed Dorm . The Hostel is located in a friendly and safe area and the property is secure. All rooms also come with lockable storage space. Free breakfast includes - Fresh fruits, juices, bread, cheeses, meats and coffee.

In Lagoa you will find a variety of seafood restaurants, street food, shopping, bars and clubs. Lagoa is well known for its vibrant nightlife where the streets flood with people and live music!

Cancellation Policy

Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2 days before arrival. After this date, charges will be applied by the property up to the first nights cost of the reservation, unless otherwise stated in the property’s conditions. Deposits paid are non refundable.
