Welcome to Kings Cross Backpackers; part of the famous Mad Money Hostel Group. Join us for the perfect backpacker adventure!
We were fully renovated in 2015, offering FREE unlimited ultra fast WiFi, our famous FREE HOT breakfast, FREE tea and coffee, some FREE meal night, as well as FREE organised events & nights out. PLUS don’t forget about our incredible roof top with BBQ facilities, to make a sunny day truly aussie!
Clean dorms, new bunks/mattresses, multiple common areas and passionate entertainments staff gives Kings Cross Backpackers that perfect atmosphere.
We are located just off the famous “Golden Mile” in Kings Cross (Sydney’s backpacker Mecca) allowing easy access to the best clubs, pubs and tourist attractions, but not to worry we are a street back from all the late night noise.
** Please note this is strictly an international youth hostel for backpackers aged 18 to 35. An international passport must be shown on check in. **
Accommodation Information
Kings Cross backpackers has predominately 4, 6, 8 and 10 bed dorms and at around 80 beds it is small enough for everyone to know each other and large enough for something to be happening every night of the week. All dorms include free bed linen and security lockers (BYO padlock).
Location Information
Kings Cross Backpackers is centrally located. It is just off the famous "Golden Mile" which is Sydney's backpacker mecca and party district. Right in the heart of the action we are amongst great bars, clubs and walking distance to the city, Opera House and Harbour bridge. With buses just out front and Kings Cross Station 100m away it is easy to get to all tourist attractions. We highly recommend grabbing a bus to Bondi for the day or hop on the ferry to the famous Manly Beach. Just ask at reception if you need any help.
Cancellation Policy
Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 1 day before arrival. After this date, charges will be applied by the property up to the first nights cost of the reservation, unless otherwise stated in the property’s conditions. Deposits paid are non refundable.
