Manly Backpackers is the largest and most fun-filled hostel in Sydney's Northern Beaches. The hostel is located in the heart of Manly.

Thinking about an early morning surf, an evening swim, a stroll along Manly's famous promenade walkway along the beach or you need to get to Manly's huge selection of watering holes (pubs)? If you're staying at Manly Backpackers you won't have to walk far. We're located just a couple minutes walk to everything. The beach is just a block away and the Manly Corso (where it all happens) is no more than a few minutes walk. Need to get to the City? No worries...the Manly Wharf is less than five minutes walk too!

Back at home base...you'll love the team that takes care of you (within reason of course). Our staff are the most friendly people you'll find in Manly. Their goal is to make your stay comfortable, convenient and memorable. Their focus on clean rooms, comfy beds and convenient facilities ensures that you can focus on best part of your stay....fun, fun fun!!!

Opening Hours:
Mon - Fri: 9am – 7pm
Sat – Sun: 9am – 6pm
Check in time : 2pm onwards
Late Check ins: with the Night Managers after 7pm

Reception Unattended : Every day between 6am - 9am

Upon Check in :
You will be asked to provide a valid ID and be over the age of 18 (either your passport or your driver license) and also to pay a $30 key deposit (refundable upon check-out).

After Hour Service:
For late check-ins (after reception is closed) simply call the Night Manager on 02 9977 3411 and they will have your key ready for you.

Check Out Time :
10am. Early check-out can be arranged with the reception team the day prior to departure.

Peak Season (25th Dec till 3rd January) - We have a no cancellation policy for all bookings across our Peak Season.
All bookings for the peak season must be fully pre-paid.

Accommodation Information

Manly backpacker is one of the larger and more comfortable backpacker hostels in Sydney. It's no coincidence that people from all over the world find their way to our unique backpacker hostel. Sydney has a lot of great attractions, but not many are as good as Manly Beach, and we are right next to the beach!

As for the accommodation. Well it has everything you need for a fun holiday with a lot of fun people.

We have large common areas, including BBQ area, Pool Table Games Room, Huge TV room, and 3 large balconies that adjoin many of our rooms
We have 4 or 6 bed dorms available; or if you prefer the privacy of a Double Room
$30 key deposit required at time of check in. Refundable upon check out.

All group bookings over 4 persons must contact us directly.

Location Information

We are right in the heart of Manly, just 500m walk from the Manly Wharf, and just 100m to the beach.

Cancellation Policy

Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2 days before arrival. After this date, charges will be applied by the property up to the first nights cost of the reservation, unless otherwise stated in the property’s conditions. Deposits paid are non refundable.
