About Landing Pads Richmond
Our guests typically stay for weeks, making Landing Pads more like a big share house. If you're looking for a longer term stay in Melbourne and want to live the culture and share the adventure, then landing pads Richmond is for you.
It's hard moving to a new country or city. At Landing Pads we're set up to help you settle in, get work and most importantly make friends. We have local job contacts and provide free job seeker tutorials, designed to get you working fast and getting paid well.
We have a fully equipped kitchen including an espresso coffee machine, dining area, five bathrooms to choose from, Television room, sun porch, side courtyard covered smoking area and BBQ. Richmond is an awesome suburb, with great transport, trams/trains just minutes away. Supermarket 5min walk and heaps of cheap bars/cafes on Bridge road to discover.
We have 3 and 4 bed dorms, male, female and mixed, as well as private couples rooms. All our dorms come with, personal reading lamps, privacy curtains ( bottom bunk), personal lockers, big fluffy towels and two pillows.
From the airport:
Taxi - If there are two of you it is better to take a taxi as it is the same price as public transport but much quicker.
Sky bus - $17 per person one way. The Sky Bus leaves every 10 min and takes 20 min to get to Southern Cross train station (Melbourne CBD)
From Melbourne CBD ( Southern Cross Station ):
Train - Take the Hurstbridge or South Morang line. Travel to West Richmond Station (second stop). Walk right on Muir Street for 50m, then right again onto Erin Street for 50m until you get to Hoddle Street where you will find the hostel.
Tram - Take the number 75 or 48 Tram from Southern Cross Station. Ride to stop 14, walk up Hoddle Street, and we are 100m away.
We're a small hostel and don't have a full time reception,
as a long term working hostel our Minimum stay is Seven Days
Check in times are strictly between 10am - 6pm, this is so we don't disturb sleeping people in the rooms.
