About Rainbow Bay Backpackers
With a view of the beautiful surf beach, Snapper Rocks, Rainbow Bay Backpackers provides a mixture of great accommodation and an amazing location.
The rooms include views of Snapper Rocks beach and the Tweed River, our newly refurbished top of the line backpacker rooms with bunk beds, single beds, communal kitchens and free Wi-Fi, it would be wrong for you not to stay with us!
Settled on the headland between the wonderful Rainbow Bay and Coolangatta beaches, Snapper Rocks Backpackers is positioned in the right spot for the fun surfer or those that just want a swim at one of Australia’s most well known beaches.

Location Information
Rainbow Bay Backpackers is located in the most beautiful part of the Coolangatta beaches. Located within Greenmount Beach Hotel, Rainbow Bay Backpackers is located on the wing side of the building with one half of the rooms facing Snapper Rocks/Rainbow Bay beach, and the other side facing the beautiful Tweed River. Rainbow Bay Backpackers is in a great location for either surfing or even trying how to learn to surf as we are just across the road from the beautiful Coolangatta beaches.
Cancellation Policy
Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2 days before arrival. After this date, charges will be applied by the property up to the first nights cost of the reservation, unless otherwise stated in the property’s conditions. Deposits paid are non refundable.
