Customer Travel Tip: If you're a solo traveller try to form groups when doing things. Book things in advance and at the same time and with the same company. They often offer discounts for multiple bookings. Go and see the falls from both sides (Zimbabwe and Zambia). Try the delicacies here.

Liked: Most things are relatively cheap and everyone is friendly.

Disliked: The tourism aspect us massively overpriced. They don't take into consideration how expensive it is to travel here and most activities are way over $100-200 for half or full day activities. The markets here ask for very steep prices as people who don't understand the currency often pay their asking price. It's impossible to go anywhere without being stopped by someone and can be dangerous at night. Especially for white women.

Customer Travel Tip: Spend as long as you can there- we were only there for a couple of days and it would have been nice to have longer to just relax and take it all in.

Liked: What is there not to like? One of the most beautiful sights in the world has made its home there. It is a place bursting with excitement and anticipation and I think that is because of the Falls.

Disliked: The baboons are terrifying!!!!

Customer Travel Tip: I had no problem paying in Kwacha anywhere in town (bars, restaurants, even my hotel upon checkout), the one time I didn't have enough on hand and paid in US$ was given a terrible exchange rate and of course Kwacha in change at a terrible rate. Just use Kwacha in Livingstone and you'll get a better deal on things.

Liked: Right next to Victoria Falls and there are plenty of activities to partake in during the daytime.

Disliked: Nighttime leaves much to be desired. Not much to do, bars and restaurants are spread out all over town and you need a taxi to go anywhere. The taxis will charge you about $5 to go anywhere in town, even short distance so would be nice to be able to walk between places easier.
