Disliked: Tour to Iririki island by boat. Ordered grilled chicken with Caesar salad and flat bread for VT 1600 (US$16) and got tiny chicken wrap size of spring roll. My desert of cake and ice=cream was brought with my main meal. Heavy rain.

Customer Travel Tip: Take a lot of money if you want to visit the attractions because everything has an entrance fee, even beaches! Take warm, comfortable clothes for chilly winter nights. Take reef shoes for walking along the coastline. Don't bargain at shops or markets because that is considered rude.

Disliked: Too expensive making it difficult to choose between all the activities available. We were shocked at the price of tours etc and couldn't make our budget stretch very far.

Customer Travel Tip: Don't take taxi's they are over priced at 3000vt. Buses take you to the same places and are the same type of vehicle at a rate of 150vt. It is a good idea to know where you are going so that you may tell the drive. Check before hand if the place where you intend to stay takes credit cards. Don't exchange much money at the airport because the rate is a bit lower then in the city. Get enough to get you by until you can get into the city. Check out several different exchange places because they donot all give you the same rate. Sometime it is worth a little walking to get the best deal on rates.
Liked: Good sized city and clean. Friendly people and many places to stay near the main city. Transport services are plenty so catching a bus is very easy from almost anywhere around port villa.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

Customer Travel Tip: Have more local currencies. A lot of ppl don't accept credit cards. Avoid Sunday to arrive if you can manage as many places are closed. Use bus rather than Taxi.
Liked: Unspoiled, kind, and friendly people.
