Customer Travel Tip: Take sun cream, the weather is always above 110 degrees, so it is very hot.
Liked: Great culture, lots of sightseeing, activities etc available.

Liked: If you know where to go there are pockets of very interesting things going on.
Disliked: Horrible public transportation. It's getting better but it still needs much improvement.

Customer Travel Tip: Go to gardens EARLY. SEE the unique desert. Study bus book at hostel for metro buses timetables.
Liked: Beautiful city. Architecture is new. Very flat so good 4 walking but CARRY a bottle of water & venture forth early....while still cool. The Botanic Gardens very good example of unique biology of Sonoran southwest deserts....I spent 6 hrs here & really liked the strange cacti plants. Inc old growth hundreds of years old!!
Disliked: Extreme HEAT. Hard to negotiate.

Liked: EVERYTHING It's such a chilled out and relaxed town full of many amazing people I'm glad I had the chance to meet :D

Customer Travel Tip: Go to the botanical gardens. If there is a farmersmarket, go there for 1 hour or so.
Liked: Phioenix is a very relaxed town. It's easy to go there and to get away. People were friendly and for a couple off days there is enough to do. Go to the botanical gardens for example... (but not in the afternoon when it can get to hot)
Disliked: I can imagine that if you are staying for more than 2 or 3 days, it's getting a bit borring.

Liked: It's a nice and clean city and also really save. But you should like the heat!
Disliked: You can't walk around here during the day. Definitly to hot between june and august

Customer Travel Tip: You want to avoid the summer at all costs, unless you are a party animal, in which case it's good, because you'll be enjoying the night.
Liked: The grand canyon is a must to see!
Disliked: Unfortunately I got there in the wrong season, summer! If you're not used to the heat, it could be brutal! It's always above 110 degrees, and it's impossible to engage in any outdoor activity. Winter and the mid-seasons are by far the best time to be there.

Liked: I really like downtown Phoenix and taking the light rail to Tempe.
Disliked: It gets really hot!

Customer Travel Tip: DRINK LOTS OF WATER. Maybe travel in morning and evenings if you dont like the heat
Liked: Loads to do. From being right out in the middle of the desert to the bustling downtown areas of phoenix and tempe. Lots of museums and art work around. Seems very friendly.
Disliked: Very hot, but with the right precautions and attitude its not a problem.

Liked: The mountains surrounding the city are amazing. The Botatical Gardens were beautiful and very interesting example of the desert.
