Trip Type:
Backpacking / gap year City break Sightseeing & culture

Customer Travel Tip: It's always fun experiencing a city with other people so if your not with someone already try and get to know the people at your hostel and you'll meet some nice people who you can get to share New Orleans with.

Liked: There is so much to do here. So many beautiful areas of the city to visit. So many people to observe. Great food to eat and great music to listen to and performers to watch. There's no way you can't have a good time here.

Disliked: New Orleans is slightly unsafe so it's best not to walk alone at night if your unfamiliar with the city. That said it's pretty hard to find yourself in bad areas unless you go looking for them. If you stick to the areas that you should want to be in as a tourist anyway you should be fine.
