Customer Travel Tip: Support local bands & live music.

Liked: Very cool, laid-back city...TONS of live music, wayyyy better music than most places i go...cheap drinks even on 6th street....buses were decent....many other things i like about Austin, i'll return in winter.

Disliked: Too hot for me, food is expensive & no grocery store downtown. Too much partying for me, but that may be ideal for others. i work everywhere i go, not really a tourist, so i put average on shopping/sightseeing since those are not things i do.

Customer Travel Tip: Stay somewhere away from the 5th/6th avenue unless you are a party animal and don't care about going to sleep around 2:30am.

Liked: The nightlife and music.

Disliked: There's nothing that I didn't really find wrong with Austin. I would have liked more touristy things to do. It was pretty hot when I went so a beach would have been nice but you can't have everything! haha

Liked: Overall it's a bit weird but really vibrant. Always lots going on. Very arty and full of live music. Friendly people

Disliked: Nope, maybe a fair few homeless/people asking for money but you get them everywhere

Customer Travel Tip: Stick to 6th Street in the city centre as I failed to see anything else in all the other city centre streets worth seeing.

Liked: Chilled out atmosphere. Friendly and helpful people.

Disliked: Other than 6th Street there is not much else to the city centre. The shops I imagine are on the outskirts of the city in shopping malls.
