15 Oct 2013

Customer Travel Tip: Be aware of the hot temps even in early Oct. Easy walking city. Be sure to check out the bats at dusk coming out from under the Congress St bridge. 6th St is a borderline seedy, but some great bars along the street going to Whole Foods, which is a must see in itself. Also the LoCo area across the Congress St Bridge was better for walking around. I also sought out the Baylor St Art Project graffiti. LBJ LIbrary was closed due to gov't shutdown while I was there. Austin City Limits Music Festival was going on but they only were selling 3 day passes & I was only there one of those days.

Liked: The Town Lake Hike/Bike Trail. Whole Foods. THe bats at Congress St. Bridge.

Disliked: Too hot & not enough to do as a tourist.
