Customer Travel Tip: The railway takes you to Izmir airport. It is the cheapest method, provided the times fit in with your flight.

Liked: It is very relaxing. The bus and train stations are in the middle of town and the train connects to the airport. Ephesus is a short walk away and the beaches easy to get too. Selcuk people are welcoming and chatty. Shopkeepers are helpful but not pushy!

Disliked: The museum and castle were closed for renovations.

Trip Type:

Customer Travel Tip: Don't stay here unless you are Alaskan in the winter.

Liked: Things were close enough to walk and the restaurant owners were friendly. Trains and buses equally close for moving on.

Disliked: Selcuk is great, but if you are looking for big city life it isn't here. A local well marked bus system could give people options. Instead you pay for the tour or walk.

Trip Type:
Events / festivals

Customer Travel Tip: Izmir airport and the train to Selcuk. Visit the old Ephesus and other historic places. Pamucak is the nearest beach and there is a good dolmus service. Must visit Kusadasi if you are looking for night life and sopping and good restaurants. Again there is a good bus/dolmus service.

Liked: Typical Turkish town offering all the good qualities of Turkish people. Small enough to walk around easily and large enough so that you have all the facilities ie hospitals and clinics, bus station and train gar to Izmir and Denizli. Selcuk is only 22 km from Kusadasi (20 minutes by car) which is a fascinating resort with excellent beaches, restaurants, shops, sights and resort hotels

Disliked: The noise.
