Trip Type:
Beach / sunbathing

Customer Travel Tip: Get out to the lagoon, it costs 6 lira per person, and hire a boat (25 lira per hour) or snorkel gear (10 lira for the day). Get away from the crowds a little bit, and you can occasionally find quite large turtles, which will hang around the boat. Also, go to ReAction paragliding, they are fairly priced, and the view from up there is amazing.

Liked: was really hot, and due to Ra madam, was fairly quiet.

Disliked: Just the constant barrage of restaurant and shop staff trying to get your attention to come into their establishment. Pretty minor complaint, but it does get irritating.

Customer Travel Tip: Don't visit Oludeniz unless you're the type of British tourist who can't stand the culture of other countries, needs to be around other Brits 100% of the time and will get withdrawal symptoms if you're away from a pub or tacky sea side town for more than a day. If you want to see real Turkey and the wonders and unique experiences it has to offer, AVOID OLUDENIZ!

Liked: The Blue Lagoon was very pretty. Plenty of restaurants.

Disliked: Pretty much everything else. The entire town is like a warped parody of a British sea side resort - it feels more like Blackpool than Turkey. We booked a tour for 130 TL (~ £40), by far our biggest rip-off while we were in Turkey. We got a crappy fishing boat, and only saw a small sea cave and the butterfly valley (which contrary to its name, had very few butterflies and little else).
