Customer Travel Tip: Dinner at the Night Market.
Liked: Walkable downtown with restaurants and shops. Active night market for eating and drinking.
Disliked: No sidewalks means you dodge cars and mopeds.

Customer Travel Tip: Visit the sea front for some wonderful rock bars where you will be entertained by excellent cover bands and enjoy cheap drinks and wonderful company!
Liked: Wonderful mixture of thai culture and nightlife. The live rock and reggae bars were a highlight of my trip, and the array of seafood on offer was outstanding. Travel agents, bar staff, musicians and hostel employees all made me feel like a friend rather than a customer. My day horse riding at Krabi Nature horse riding centre was one of the most exciting days of my life! I would heartily recommend Krabi to anyone visiting Thailand.
Disliked: Wish I'd had more time there!

Sightseeing & culture
Customer Travel Tip: Stay in Pak-up hostel, to date it's been my favourite hostel. Don't stay long in Krabi as not much to do. Visit to Railey beach is worth the 300bht return. Ty and avoid weekday stay as the big market is only on on the weekend however if you've been to khaosan rd in Bangkok, they basically sell the same stuff.
Liked: Kari is a good quiet stop before hitting other places such as phi phi. Its more a place that you go to connect to somewhere else. The weekend market was really good. Food on the pier was also really cheap and lovely. Krabi airport is small but very efficient, would thoroughly recommend flying with Bangkok airways.
Disliked: Not really much to do or see but as I was going to phi phi, I actually appreciated the quiet.

Customer Travel Tip: Stay a bit longer and don't rush to the islands.
Liked: I simply loved the city. It nice and quiet but I never got bored. There's a lot to do in the area (snorkling, nature park, caves, climbing, hiking...) and there are a lot of travel agency who offer a "whole day" packet. The night market provides you a good an cheap meal.
Disliked: nope

Customer Travel Tip: Bring lots of money! Hire a scooter. Expect it to be really touristy in Railay. Don't be afraid to move around by yourself. Wear sunscreen!
Liked: The landscape
Disliked: The expensive transportation and lack of other options for tourists . When comparing to rest of Thailand it's a complete tourist trap

Customer Travel Tip: Maybe try the street food next time. Rather have stayed in Ao Nang instead. More expensive, but most of the tours leave from there and the restaurant scene was better.
Liked: Near some amazing beaches and the postcard views of rocks in the oceans.
Disliked: Plenty of pollution from cars and such. Hard time finding restaurants that didn't feel tourist-oriented.

Customer Travel Tip: Get a tuk-tuk to Khao Phanombencha National Park to see an 11-tiered waterfall. If you're in good shape, there's a steep trail up through jungle and back down along the waterfall. Make sure you arrange a pick-up time with your tuk-tuk and don't pay them until they pick you up. Take a picnic :-)
Liked: Krabi is a great base for day excursions, e.g. Railay, Tiger Cave Temple, nearby National Park.
Disliked: There's absolutely nothing wrong with Krabi itself, it just doesn't have much going on. Worth spending a couple of days there to day trips in the local region.

Trip Type:
Beach / sunbathing
Relaxation / spa
Sports, adventure or outdoor activities
Customer Travel Tip: Take a towel and water shoes as you do a lot of getting on and off boats. Always barter as you can always find a cheaper price. Do not book on line you find better deals in the Main Street :)
Liked: Easy to get around. Friendly with lots of delicious restaurants. So many boats and trips going to the islands so it was a very busy Beach and street.
Disliked: Because it is highly competitive with many boat trips it meant when you got to the islands they were extremely overcrowded ! Best to go outside high season.
