Customer Travel Tip: Often clothing is even cheaper here than in Bangkok, so we bought a few things whilst there.

Liked: We loved Kanchanaburi. It is fairly close to Erawan national park, which was an amazing place to visit!

Customer Travel Tip: Stay at Sam's House, it is awesome!!!!

Liked: Beautiful little town in the jungle full of character. I have a relative who died here during WWII and visiting his grave was very moving.

Disliked: A few tourist bar seem a little mis-placed

Customer Travel Tip: Being a mature couple but still backpack around the world I would definitely recommend being out of town as the countryside and surrounding area is amazing.

Customer Travel Tip: Definitely visit the waterfalls, safari park and do a day out which includes elephant riding, hot springs etc.

Liked: Everything, it wasn't too noisy or loud when that sort of thing was wanted.

Customer Travel Tip: Don't go near accommodation run by 'Sam'.

Liked: The Erawan Waterfall plus Bridge ove river Kwai esperience.

Customer Travel Tip: If you want to spend a longer time at Hellfire pass make your own way there, the visits with a tour are quite short. It would be possible on a scooter, you'd need to check they don't have a limited radius on their hire schedule.

Liked: Visiting all the ww2 sites.

Customer Travel Tip: Bring a handfan. Don't forget to check out the Erewan waterfalls and the elephant interaction.

Liked: I loved the elephant interaction. The food are great and were really cheap!

Disliked: I cannot think of anything so far. I liked it way better than Bangkok.

Liked: We didnt see really much, we wanted to go to the floating market but it was tooo far and so we decided to go back to Bangkok after one night.

Disliked: There were no activities we could do there except the tiger farm and the railway museum.

Customer Travel Tip: Leave plenty of time as there is a lot to do! I would recommend 3 days at least. Don't expect too much from the nightlife however it's not all bad; relaxing on the river with a beer was a great evening.

Customer Travel Tip: They must take 2 hours train ride over the river kwai till the last stop for 100 B its worth and so scenic.

Liked: I loved walking through the streets Visiting Museum and River Kwai was an experience I wont ever forget.

Disliked: I think it is less rated in the tourism brochures of Thailand.
