Trip Type:
Sightseeing & culture

Customer Travel Tip: Embrace it all and spend at least 4 - 5 days there. I was there only 3.5. I felt cut short of a potentially life-changing experience.

Liked: Everything. Seriously, this is a great place to visit for all sorts of interests. Not an extremely large city, but a sure cultural refuge and paradise amongst a plethora of culturally significant temples and activities, high adventure tourism, and just plain old daytime relaxation in slightly chillier weather than the rest of Thailand.

Disliked: Public transport. Communal taxis are cheapest and best, but nothing else low budget to get around.
