Customer Travel Tip: Do use time and effort to investigate the hiking trails beforehand, if heading to Taroko and Wallami trails. Apply for the permissions for the hikes and be prepared to do it even one week before the planned trip. There are lots of free -for - everyone-routes in Taroko and even if they are beautiful, they are too short if you really want to hike. Consider taking a tent with you and hiking several days.

Liked: Taroko hiking was why I went there, what I did and what I loved. I do not know much about other stuff that was / was not there.

Disliked: Stray dogs were a bit scary

Liked: it's relax and the citizens are very friendly. the bicycle path is very convinient for you to travel by bike to almost everywhere.

Customer Travel Tip: Make sure you can access to google map until the city provides English maps to travellers.

Liked: Great stop for Taroko National Park. Actually there are many things you can do around this place.

Disliked: The city should print maps in English version also. Roads have English print names but no English names on the map so it's hard to get around unless you use google map all the time.
