Age Range:

Customer Travel Tip: Only go there if you are into Catholicism. Nothing appealing for the secular visitor.

Liked: The flat stone roads were attractive.

Disliked: I did not like the atmosphere - found it quite stern and heavy. The waiters seemed aloof and even mildly hostile - seemed fed up with tourists. There was little to do and see other than the cathedral. The menus were all almost identical - food was poor quality and expensive. The shops were full of tacky religious junk. I walked around and saw most of what there was to see in 1 day and was killing time for the rest of the period.

Customer Travel Tip: If you bet bored after a couple of days, then there are many cities and smaller villages within 1h distance that are worth a look, so don't underestimate hidden beauties of Galicia.

Liked: Historical atmosphere of the whole city is jut amazing. Foods are great and cheap too.

Disliked: Unless your are religious, there isn't that much to see as the city is not that big. I felt it would have been more fun to hop around small villages along the Galician cost side instead of visiting small museums in this city.

Customer Travel Tip: Eat all the seafood.

Liked: Small and fun city. Cool history to it. We were fortunate to have great weather. If you like seafood you should probably move here.

Disliked: Hillier than I anticipated. Coming from Madrid we have Chino's everywhere, we were hard pressed to find any sort of alimentación anywhere to buy cheap beer. Lots of pilgrims.
