Customer Travel Tip: To say the truth, the best of this area is in the mountains and the coastline, not in the cities... and there are better places not far away in the same region. Go to see the wild nature of the mountains of Asturias!

Liked: Actually i didn't see Oviedo. I was so tired after a bike trip around the mountains and so sick and tired of boring cities that i just didn't visit Oviedo. I visited Gijón which lies on the coast a few 16-20 km from the hostel but didn't look much interesting. Basically i took my motorbike and went around the mountains a whole day which was more interesting than any city, not to mention the small town of Salinas where the hostel lies.

Disliked: All this area is BORING... but it's mountains! The beach is full with snobs and surfers (wich is which and who is who) and there is not much to do or to see but the boring beach. And then you get to the beach, try to swim... but you can't.... because there are so many surfers that you aren't comfortable whith the idea of getting a surf-hit in your head, and finally you end up going away from the beach, wich is the only interesting thing of the village....
