Customer Travel Tip: Sometimes it's better to just wing it. Don't plan a day by day itinerary. There's always something to do, see, bump into when you travel.

Liked: The pace of life is comparable to New York, but there was a lot more charm and culture to it. People are welcoming and like to take care of you, even if you are a stranger.

Customer Travel Tip: Hongdae is a great place - night and day

Liked: Excellent and comparatively cheap public transport with Wi-Fi at almost every subway station, Many nice palaces, great atmosphere on Namsam Mountain and in Hongdae and streetfood in various places.

Disliked: I was there in December and it was icy cold! Luckily there are enough (free) museums to warm up in.

Customer Travel Tip: Do your cosmetics shopping in Myeongdong. If you can, do a tour of the DMZ.

Liked: The locals are very friendly and genuine. There is plenty of old mixed with the new. It is a great place to shop as well as sightsee.

Disliked: Appearance is very important here. All the girls are immaculate - which makes backpackers looks extra scruffy.
