Customer Travel Tip: Although taxis are very convenient, their cost adds up quickly. Take the minibus whenever possible. They cost a small fraction of what a taxi would and are not hard to find in the city. However, be aware that it can be difficult to catch a bus when it is mid-route.
Liked: Lots to do in the area. There are plenty of varied of activities so there is always something for everyone. The tourist office in the city is extremely helpful. Many attractions are within walking distance of the city. Soufriere is an ideal base for climbing the Gros Piton.
Disliked: The city is very loud at night. Some areas in the city are best avoided at night. Be prepared to be asked for money frequently by the locals. Watch your belongings. However, we felt quite safe walking around. The selection for budget accommodations is very limited.
