Trip Type:
City break Romantic getaway

Customer Travel Tip: If possible make a trip to Douro Valley from Porto, beautiful! Keep in mind that many restaurants are closed on Sunday. For some excellent (port) wine tasting, there is a very affordable place with great wines at the river side (Ribeira side) right behind the glass restaurant.

Liked: Great, small town, relaxed atmosphere, close to river and sea, port wine drinking.

Disliked: Many restaurants are closed on Sunday. Lots of climbing while walking around the city...

Liked: The relaxed atmosphere, the beauty, close to river and sea, friendly people, small town atmosphere, port wine drinking

Disliked: Many restaurants are closed on Sunday. If you walk, there's a lot of climbing/descending. The metro from and to the airport only runs every half hour.
