Customer Travel Tip: Get city maps with landmarks. That seems to be the best way to keep your bearings when exploring new areas.

Liked: A lot to do without going a long distance. A lot of history.

Disliked: Roads are not marked well, which makes it easy to get lost on your own. Seems to be common in Northern Ireland, at least where I visited.

Liked: The bog side tour was a fascinating look into Bloody Sunday

Customer Travel Tip: During main season you should book a room in a hostel early, because there are only three hostels in the city.

Liked: Its a very comfy city with a lot of things to see and to learn about the history of Ireland. You should definately see the pubs over there and get to know the people. They are really open-minded and friendly!!

Customer Travel Tip: Visit the traditional pubs where local musicians play traditional Irish music - Excellent atmosphere in the pubs & gorgeous Guinness!

Liked: I had a fantastic stay in Derry - The locals were all extremely friendly; the city was easy to walk around with excellent walking tours whcih were very informative on the troubles that had occurred.

Customer Travel Tip: The Tower Museum and the Free Derry Museum are both very well done and worth the price.

Liked: I loved the Tower Museum, the Free Derry Museum, the pubs with great music, and some of the events during the UK City of Culture.
