Customer Travel Tip: Go to Cominarte the vegetarian restaurant. its got a good atmosphere when it fills up and it has good food!

Liked: Much less hassle than Granada, as a tourist you just blend in. I would say there were maybe about the same number of tourists, but I felt much less herded and pestered here. People are happy and the city itself is quite beautiful with lots of old buildings. Really nice vibe.

14 Dec 2013

Customer Travel Tip: Bring sunscreen! It is no joke hot.

Liked: Leon is pretty awesome. It's really hot though! Also, it can be pretty loud, someone is always setting off loud fireworks for one reason or another and it can get tiresome when you're hot, hungover and trying to sleep in. All in all, Nicaragua is a really great "undiscovered" place to travel, especially if you're looking to stretch your money out. Definitely do the volcano boarding of you go to Leon!

Disliked: It was on the dirtier side, compared to the other towns in Nicaragua I was at.
