Customer Travel Tip: Chocolate making class!
Liked: The chocolate making class at the Chocolate Musuem is AMAZING! You make chocolate from bean to bar and get to take your own bar away in a packet that makes it look like you bought it off the shelf in a shop. There's a mini test at the end of the class, which is good fun and you get a certificate. I'd highly recommend this activity for chocolate lovers - get there early enough for the buffet breakfast before your class, which is to die for. Well worth $19 for the class. Take a boat trip on Lake Nicaragua around some of the 350+ islands on the lake - a beautiful way to spend an hour or 2 seeing people's own personal mini islands and how they have built their unique houses on them. Well worth $10 per person for this beautiful and relaxing boat trip. Wander into the cigar factory and you can make your own cigar for $5, which includes having your picture taken with the resident parrot!
Disliked: No, although it's a shame that it seemed really quiet along the lake front and that business doesn't seem to be doing so well for the locals there. Go visit them and boost the Granada economy!
