Customer Travel Tip: The pyramid is a must. If you go there early in the morning, you might not get into the crowd of visitors.
Liked: great beaches, nice atmosphere, small hotels, no crowds, nice restaurants at the beach, lots of activities are close

Customer Travel Tip: Get to the ruins and cenotes early. Consider renting a motorbike to visit more nearby places at your pace.
Liked: Close proximity to ruins and cenotes. Locally owned restaurants.
Disliked: Beaches marred by the seaweed. The ruins are very crowded by mid-day. Better public transportation to cenotes, ruins and attractions could save travelers time and perhaps money.

Customer Travel Tip: The cenotes and the public beach!
Liked: Great beach, great places for eating (especially fish and sea food), very interesting archaeological site, cenotes nearby.
Disliked: The archaeological sites, the cenotes and the beach are a little outside the public area of Tulum, so you have to rent a bike or scooter or go by taxi (walking would be very hard with these temperatures).

Customer Travel Tip: Casa del sol, and the private beach house they have in Mahahual. Best brakfast is papaya playa Maison Tulum.
Liked: The food and weather is over the top. The people are awesome.
Disliked: one place called La Cigana! It is wrong located on the map, and the staff is not so nice and the place was very dirty.

Customer Travel Tip: don't book tours - hire bikes and ride to beach and cenotes
Liked: Cheap yummy food, amazing cenotes to visit.
Disliked: Beach is normally amazing but storms caused discolour in water and seaweed all over beach.

Customer Travel Tip: Get to the ruins at 8am when they open.... Its something else seeing them without hoards of bus trip tourists! (I was the only one there for about 20 minuted this morning!)
Liked: From seeing Mayan ruins to diving cenotes, to relaxing on the beach there really is something for everyone. And there are no high rise hotels like further north in Cancun or PDC.
Disliked: Nothing!

Customer Travel Tip: If you have the money and want beach go to a Hotel with beachfront. Otherwise rent a good bike or scooter to get around. Walking distances are too far.
Liked: The public beach was okay but quite far to get there from the town center. The possibility to buy groceries to prepare budget-food. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Possibility of collectivos to many places around Tulum.
Disliked: That most beaches were bloked by hotels. Bad bicycles.
