Customer Travel Tip: Life during the heat of the day is a little quiet, so finding cheap food for lunch can be a challenge, plan ahead. Everything opens and everyone is out in the evening so you can get great tacos, empanadas, etc for cheap.
Liked: Pretty low-key, not a very touristy. Beautiful water (a lot of sea kelp on shore). Laid back lifestyle. Delicious food. Stuff to do if you want. Just wonderful.
Disliked: The limited access to ATMs can be a bit of a problem. But we made sure to take out money well before we ran out and the machines ran out (or broke).

Customer Travel Tip: If you travel on a budget make sure to bring food from the mainland. There are local stalls on the square at night (they open about 7pm) but even those add up in price. If your hostel/hotel has a kitchen for the guests to use, bring your own food. Food from the markets (veg, fruit, crackers, rice, etc) can be bought on the island but it is more expensive than on the mainland.
Liked: Very chill, great place to just wander the beaches or the sandy lanes that seem to go endlessly. Loved the vibe.
Disliked: I thought the restaurants were too expensive (even the food in the supermarkets were jacked up quite high) and not too much choice in terms of "local eateries" as one can find easily on the mainland. I wish it was more affordable for all types of travelers, including the budget kind like myself.
