Liked: It's a good location, not in st julians still quiet but its easy to get everywhere. Malta has fantastic transport.

Customer Travel Tip: locate your nearest bus stop and get the popular bus connections map and don't put all your believes on times of buses as the drivers follow their own mysterious time table

Liked: at the sea, few nice restaurants, good transport, many travelers

Disliked: it's not tidy, I haven't seen shop opened long there ie. after 6pm, not many pubs or interesting restaurants especially when we compare to Ft Gillian, which is very close however.

Customer Travel Tip: Do not rely on the bus schedule.

Liked: Very good location, not far from Valletta and other sites of interest, with many bus routes.

Disliked: The bus schedule is not strictly obeyed.

Customer Travel Tip: Stay in St Julians if you like nightlife

Liked: Location

Disliked: Not enough nightlife - you really need to go into St Julians

Customer Travel Tip: Good base for getting out and about. The Arriva buses provide excellent value for money at only Euro2.60 for a full day ticket. Allow plenty of time to get to the airport if using the bus though, as timetables don't alow for busy morning traffic and the journey is likely to take longer than timetabled.

Liked: Sliema is a good place to base yourself if you want to get around Malta sightseeing. There are good transport links and planty of accommodation choices. As a destination in itself there is little to do/see.

Customer Travel Tip: be careful with the change usually they like to keep the tips theirself

Liked: it's a very intresting and hisorical city

Customer Travel Tip: I was in Malta for a week and made very good use out of my 12 Euro weekly bus pass. The pass was convenient and saved some money in the end.

Liked: convenient place to hang out, or to arrange activities [like diving], and to go eating and drinking

Disliked: there's always lots of traffic on the main road.

Liked: Best: The harbour atmopsphere!

Liked: Nice seaviews

Disliked: Few cultural activities. Expensive. Limited shopping opportunities. Poor winter weather - wind & rain

Customer Travel Tip: Get a bus pass for the day or for the week.

Liked: Public transport is great. Easy walking distance to St Julian, St George. Water ferry to Valletta.

Disliked: No.

Customer Travel Tip: If you want culture and good bus connections, stay in Valetta. If you want quiet, stay on Gozo.

Liked: If you like getting drunk and dancing, it might be a nice place.

Disliked: There is nothing greeen, nothing of cultural value, the bus to Valetta takes ages and the Ferry is not reliable.
