Liked: Easy to get to from the bus terminal Easy to walk around the city Interesting sights and history

Customer Travel Tip: Take advantage of the free historical walking tour, offered by the informatiob center.
Liked: I enjoyed the historical sites and the relaxed atmosphere.
Disliked: A lot of the places to eat have limited hours of operation.

Customer Travel Tip: really difficult to find money changers (in fact in 3 days we could not find a single one). Bank next to the St Francis church work with all main credit cards.

Customer Travel Tip: Stay near jonker street. Take a bus from Melaka sentral to jonker. It costs only RM1 and takes less than 10 minutes without traffic. A taxi will cost RM20.
Liked: Rustic old school charm fused with new age influences.
Disliked: Not much nightlife

Customer Travel Tip: Go to the river but night and have a nice quiet drink. Also go to de Sikh tempel around 7. You will find nice and friendly people who will tell you about there beleves and ask you to come stay with them
Liked: I liked the culture and the fortress
Disliked: It was crowded and there were this bikes with a lot of loud annoying music

Customer Travel Tip: Be open-minded and go to the River Front hotel for buffet on Saturdays!
Liked: Great culture, accessible, good things to see for a short trip.
Disliked: Fairly humid, could be fairly touristy in some places.

Customer Travel Tip: It is a nice chill change of pace from most of South East Asia
Liked: It was very chill which was a nice change of pace. Some really interesting history and some very nice restuarants. Make sure you go to Capitol satay!
Disliked: Not a lot to do at night

Customer Travel Tip: The market hall in Little India. Fascinating experience and interesting insight in absolutely different views on hygiene ;-)
Liked: There is good reason why the old town is on the world heritage list. When you avoid the tourist hordes (very early or in backstreets) you will have an interesting town to visit.
Disliked: The center seems to be developing into a Disneyland with myriads of tourists and an annoying level of noise and air-pollution.
