Customer Travel Tip: Walk walk walk. If you walk from Jalan Kampung Pantai go to Bridge Street or in Chinese "Gate to Hell" It is a small alley -no cars- and there are some interesting Chinese shops. Mainly blacksmith iron and knifes. This street ends at the small bridge wich lead to an amazing small restaurant: Sin Kuay Teochew Porridge. Only open till 16.00 our. The food is amazing! Try it!!!

Liked: The amazing and old Chinese culture. The fabulous food. The little backstreets full of bambou plants and pots with flowers. I

Disliked: It is a litle bit hot...

Customer Travel Tip: Forget the Monorail it doesn't run. Go to the night market on Jonker Walk. Take a look at some of the local artisan gift shops. Try The Far East Cafe on Jalan Hang Lekir off Jonker Street, great food, good value

Liked: The people, the food, the history/culture

Disliked: Getting about by public transport was not easy, there seems to be an expectation that tourist use taxis.
