Customer Travel Tip: You must go to the islands! Avoid manuka though, tourist trap. I liked mamukan. Alu Alu cafe was good for dinner and make sure you go for a massage in a salon, so cheap and well worth the money! The night markets are amazing, I went twice, the filipino market where they sell the fish was incredible, so cheap and delicious!

Customer Travel Tip: it's a fun and nice city, but since it does not have so many cultural attractions, use this city as a stopover or as your base for your activities in the province Sabah.

Customer Travel Tip: Use it as a hub, spend one night (max) and head on to somewhere else in Borneo which will blow your mind.
Liked: The night market and the food market on the waterfront was excellent!!!! Great food, for cheap.
Disliked: There is not a lot to do in KK. It's also not a particularly Ttractive city... It's dirty and not the easiest to walk around as a tourist.

Customer Travel Tip: Travel outside of the city to see more impressive and interesting parts of Sabah. KK makes a good place to base yourself from, lots of excursions offered which are pretty good value.
Liked: Used KK as a base for seeing some of Borneo, lots of opportunities to do things in the neighbouring areas. Nearby islands good for snorkelling, relaxing. Very cheap to eat in the city.
Disliked: There's not much to do in the city itself. Could only get around by walking or taxi.
