Customer Travel Tip: Don't miss the waterfront market! It's the best place to try many kinds of local food and people watch.
Liked: The market along the waterfront. Great, inexpensive place to eat and really wonderful for seeing the local culture. Also the shops just before the market where you can get good bargains for all of your souvenirs. I found the prices in KK to be cheaper than in Sandakan. The local restaurants were a great price and many featured pics of the meals so you know what to expect.

Customer Travel Tip: Eat at Bella - great Pizza and Italian food.... Also have fried noodles at Moonbell then enjoy a margarita next door at El Centro... If you're in need of a caffeine fix have a Signature Freezy coffee at Old Town White Coffee. Once you've done that head to Sipadan and dive - it is awesome!! On the way tho take in Sepilok and Sukau for the wildlife and stop off at the mountain...
Liked: Diving at the Marine Park with Scuba Junkie was good, hiring a car and driving to Mt Kinabalu was fun. All the other activities you can do in Sabah can be organised from here.
Disliked: Except for the heavy rainfall from time to time... always take an umbrella with you and it'll be OK... it's a nice enough place to start/end your trip to Sabah. Plenty of shops/banks/restaurants to keep you busy.
