Customer Travel Tip: Have an open mind. Japan is Asian yet wanted so much to be European. You can see it in the GenY, color streaked hair, trendy clothes, branded accessories but not a word of English!

Liked: The historical and cultural sites. The sushi and the sashimi. Also a lot of walking involved.

Disliked: Just like anything else in Japan, it's quite expensive.

Customer Travel Tip: I advise that you decide what you want to see specifically in Osaka and work your way out from there re: how many nights to stay. It is a cool city, but very big. If you're into shopping it might take up more of your time, but if you simply want to see the sights and experience specific things, it might not take as long.

Liked: I like that it's so close to Kyoto. I like that it is in a very central location so you can use it as a jumping off point for hiking (like we did) in the countryside, or for visiting Kobe or Nara.

Disliked: There is no toilet paper in the Shin-Osaka JR station. TAKE PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES. You can buy tissue from the vending machines, just make sure you get it before you grab a stall!!!

Customer Travel Tip: Study the train system, bus routes before you go. Definitely learn the basic of their language, as english is very rarely spoken in osaka.

Liked: Great to just walk the streets, meet locals and look at all the different types of food and culture the place has to offer.

Disliked: Was a little poluted, bad smells in some areas. Alot of homeless people on the streets. Food is mainly kept at room temperature, really have to watch what you eat to avoid getting sick.

Customer Travel Tip: As in Osaka , the cost of living is quite high, i would recommend the budget travellers can go to the market such as `Tamade` to buy the food which always have discount. Beside you can even make your own sandwich. It saves a lot .

Liked: The Onsen, it is really rejuvenating and feel great after each bath. Continuously enjoy it for 5 days and it helps in body detox. Fantastic !!

Visiting friends or family

Customer Travel Tip: Comfortable walking shoes.

Liked: It was our first time to Japan and we only had three days. There is plenty to do and see but we didn't have enough time to do much. The transportation is easy if you know what to do and exactly where to go but being new to this, it was a challenging to get around and we'd be pretty tired by the end of the day. We found our way to the aquarium and that was worth the trip. There's a giant ferris wheel next to the aquarium that we skipped because we took the big red one in the HEP5 mall by mistake. The mall looked like an great place to shop and eat. We spent an afternoon at Osaka Castle which was okay but I didn't think it was worth the time to go inside. I wish we would've had time to visit Tennoji Park and Spa World but we spent the rest of our time in Kyoto.

Disliked: The public transportation system is challenging but we expected that.
