Customer Travel Tip: The area around Kyoto Station is actually very convenient and a good starting point to explore the city.

Liked: A beautiful city, which offers almost everything. Trains are a convenient way to travel in Japan. Most Shinkansen connections stop at Kyoto Station.

Customer Travel Tip: Wake up at 6 and venture out at 7 if you want to see as much as possible.

Liked: Sightseeing opportunities, so many great monuments and places to see. I could hardly see most of them in 3 days.

Disliked: Nope... Maybe the fact that all shrines are closed after 5pm, which is a bit too early. But that's how things work in Japan.

Customer Travel Tip: Get a day pass for the bus if you're going to use it a lot, it saves you a bit of money.

Liked: Traditional buildings, cleanliness, extremely friendly and helpful locals, green tea in abundance, great atmosphere, beautiful architecture, temples and shrines everywhere.

Disliked: Buses are almost always crowded, train system is a little hard to follow.
