Customer Travel Tip: Stay longer and use it as a base to explore the rest of tuscany. Probably works out cheaper and the travel links are really good.

Liked: Pisa is a cool little town, was busy with tourists but had a good atmosphere. Take a walk around the backstreets and along the river if to see more of the town than the obvious.

Disliked: Loads of graffiti, but you get it everywhere I guess.

Customer Travel Tip: Florence is just 1 hour 10 minutes away....and the beach at Marina de Pisa is only 20 minutes away - miles of marble blocks and pebbles and clear Mediterranean Sea.

Liked: The cultural /historical areas and the back-streets of the city.

Disliked: There are a lot of the same diners and snack bars (Parineria) that are not at all value for money. Lack of choice of good restaurants in the tourist areas. Explore the Pisa of the locals.

Customer Travel Tip: One day is enough for Pisa. If you stay longer, there are many other beautiful and interesting destinations which are very close to Pisa. Lucca is my tip.

Liked: Naturally the most important attraction, the leaning tower =)

Disliked: Nothing I disliked, but Pisa is a really small city so except the leaning tower there is not so much to see.

Customer Travel Tip: Plan on just spending one day.

Liked: Near the leaning tower the shops and restaurants were nice, but very expensive. It was easy to hang out by the leaning tower and buildings around there.

Disliked: It was very much unclear how to get from our hotel to the sightseeing areas. We got horribly lost and ask a lot people for help and it took us a few hours to walk the distance from the hostel to the leaning tower. It wasn't that great. Tons of tourists at that site.

Customer Travel Tip: You can easily see it in a day or even half a day if you only go to the tower. Be aware that you need to book a time for the tower when purchasing your ticket as only a limited no. of people are allowed to visit at a time. (every 15 min.) i.e. I arrived at the tower site around 2pm but couldn't get a ticket to go up until 5:15pm. Cost €15.00

Liked: I was able to see the leaning tower. Not too big so easy to reach everywhere by walking. Shopping bargains and loads on for Sale.

Disliked: Hard to find good outdoor restaurants. Except by the tower few restaurants are open around Norther European dinner time, (6-9pm). They open later, around 9pm when I'd have been falling over due to hunger. Not that attractive around the river. Could be created much more pleasantly. Except the leaning tower and a shopping street there wasn't much.

Customer Travel Tip: Good city for a stay over as plenty to see and do. Much less touristy than other cities in Italy and a simple train journey away from Lucca which is worth going to. Also If you want to experience a mix of city and country life Pisa is in a great location (would recommend to go up north to the Garfagnana area if it's beautiful countryside and traditional Italian culture you seek) - can get trains from Pisa centrale to Aulla or Piazza al Serchio and get off at Castelnuovo.

Liked: Easy to get around. Great atmosphere in bars and squares.
