Customer Travel Tip: When looking for food or beverages, get away from the touristic spots. You will find great restaurants with food and drinks for good prices, while on crowded spots they will ask loads of money for relatively bad food. Also, make sure you have enough time to spend there! There's an awful lot to see in Florence.

Liked: It is my favourite city in the world. The architecture is just breathtaking. Look for the smaller, authentic restaurants, away from the touristic spots to discover amazing food. The spirit of the people is wonderful. We met several artists as well, who were very welcoming. One thing you shouldn't miss is the mask shop of Agostino Dessì and his daughter Alice, located at Via Faenza 72 red. You won't know what you are seeing - it seems to have come straight from a fairytale.

Disliked: There were so many tourists, that it was just hard to get by sometimes. And before you order ice cream at a gelateria, make sure you ask about the price. Some will try to sell you a cone for 6 to 8 euros. About 3 euros for 3 scoops is fair. Also there are a lot of street salesmen, almost forcing you to buy their goods. One put bracelets around our arms without us asking for it, we couldn't get rid of the man so we eventually bought them just so he would go away. Then he wouldn't give us back our change.

Customer Travel Tip: Don't book for too many days, you can get around the decent museums etc in 1 day and go to Pisa another day. Even if there is a long queue, still go and see the David. Dont go on a Monday, all the museums are closed.

Liked: Seeing the David, easy day trip to Pisa, climbing the bell tower.

Disliked: Some of the museums were not worth the money to go into them.

Customer Travel Tip: Buy the full price for The Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore ( Cathedral ). Its amazing, youl get to see it all and the tickets last four days. My friend & I payed 23 euros each, which allows you to climb to the top of the dome, see the museum, tower, baptistery, the crypt and inside the cathedral. We saw it all in 2 days which is easy to do, and then we sold our tickets to another couple for half the price. There was a whole que of couples who would have definitely bought them, so i really advise doing that. Be ready for a lot of steps to climb the dome though, but its so worth it ! Actually Stunning!

Liked: Its so beautiful. Everyones delightful and most people speak english, which is great because my Italians pretty poor. Very nice engaging people, clearly used to visitors and seem to still be very vibrant and willing to assist tourists.

Disliked: Buy new street cleaners... they're too noisy.
