Customer Travel Tip: Stay in the city Centre, it's great just walking around the random streets

Liked: It was beautiful and had great food. A few piazzas worth seeing

Disliked: It is quite run down, with lots of graffiti. As a general statement it's quite dirty

Customer Travel Tip: If you are a car enthusiast, head to Maranello and test drive a Ferrari. It's not cheap (approx. 200 euro for 20 minutes, depends on which Ferrari you test drive) but it's well worth feeling the power of your foot at the pedal of a Ferrari. Amazing experience!

Liked: Really liked the historical aspect of Bologna. Lots of classic architecture to see in the historical part of the town. It's also close to the auto valley (not in Bologna, around Sant Agata & Maranello), where you can take tours of the Lamborghini factory and the Ferrari museum.

Disliked: Nothing for the two days that we were there. Terrific place!

Customer Travel Tip: Unless you are planning on shopping, you don't need long to see the main parts of the city; maximum of a day.

Liked: It's a small pretty city; still has the city vibe, without being overly crowded. The university area has a good atmosphere, even though it's a contrast from the rest of the city. Most of the attractions are reasonably priced!

Disliked: Nothing

Customer Travel Tip: Cocoa Bistrot for people wanting a good night on a budget.

Liked: Cocoa Bistrot was a lovely little jazz bar/cafe that offered up plenty free Italian style tapas after 6pm when purchasing a drink. Lovely atmosphere and very chilled. Bologna is a small city and has a lot to offer people who are not scared to spend a bit more in terms of money.

Disliked: The city was quite dirty, with a lot of pointless graffiti, which was a never ending site everywhere you went, even the churches and main attractions were not spared of this.

Customer Travel Tip: Definitely hang out by the university. There are cheap food options and aperitivo options around dinner time.

Liked: I loved how the city makes its public library central to the city's life. Considering it has the oldest university, it was very appropriate. The proticos were also very unique.

Disliked: Not really much to see other than the university and the city center.

Customer Travel Tip: Learn some Italian before going, as Bologna is not a touristy city (like Rome, for instance), and so the locals don't exactly know enough English to help you if you get stuck or lost, like I did.

Liked: It was cute, picturesque, and had these markets with some cheap goods. The architecture was nice, and for the most part it wasn't too crowded.

Disliked: Via Independezia wasn't well signed, so I missed it and got a bit lost.

Customer Travel Tip: Don`t climb those stairs to Santuario della Madonna di San Luca (St. Luke's Basilica).

Liked: Central biblioteque, Il Torre degli Asinelli...you must climb it! Tortelini bolognese.

Disliked: The railway station is extremely big, when i arrived from Verona with the train i`ve spent 15 minutes walking arround it because the train left me near a far away gateway, ' Santuario della Madonna di San Luca (St. Luke's Basilica) - you climb allont and no wiew of the city on top like i was expecting!
