Customer Travel Tip: Lamborghini Museum: Take bus 576 from Main Bus Station. 55min. Then walk 5min. Ferrari has two museums. One in Modena, another in Maranello. Ferrari Museum (Modena): Take train to Modena Station and walk 15min. Ferrari Museum (Maranello): Take train to Modena, then walk to Main Bus Station Platform 2, take bus to Maranello. Walk 15min to front of Ferrari Museum (Maranello). Pagani Factory: Take Train to Castelfranco Emilia Station, walk 1hr to Pagani Factory. They have a new facility that is under construction but opened to visitors on guided tours. Pagani's website states that a car is needed, but the walk to their new factory is only 5min around two corners. Walking is possible, just get the directions from the staffs. Ducatti Museum is also in Bologna. I didn't go there. Maserati Museum is also in the area. I didn't go there.

Liked: Lamborghini, Ferrari (Modena), Ferrari (Maranello), Pagani museums. Food is good and relatively less pricey.

Disliked: Travel time to other attractions is long.

Customer Travel Tip: Dont come during periods corresponding to public holidays

Liked: The food. I also like that they have promenade under almost every building so the sun can be almost entirely avoided. The buildings were old with a lot of hidden history. The streets was wide and long.

Disliked: Not enough bench/chairs for the public near the main square. Almost everything closes during holidays.

Customer Travel Tip: Plan a route through the city in advance - it's not particularly easy or pleasant to just wander round and sightsee.

Customer Travel Tip: Hang out at the Giardini Margherita. Lovely, huge park with lots to see: turtles in the lake, kids riding push bikes and little go-kart cars on mini go-kart tracks, cafés, some nightlife. Movies in Piazza Maggiore in the summer time. Beautiful spot to watch an outdoor movie! The archaeology museum is excellent.

Liked: Fun to walk around, laid back, not a lot of tourists.

Disliked: The majority of the city is completely shut down during the month of August. Apparently this is common in many cities in Italy, but it was particularly difficult to eat and shop on some days in Bologna. Not a lot to see in this city.
