Customer Travel Tip: Take more than 2 days! I only had 2 days and wished I had longer
Liked: I really liked the family vibe! The Old Town was very cute and there were always lots of families out exploring so it felt very safe and welcoming. I had some of the best gelato of my life in the Old Town! Really great base to explore other places like Alberobello and Matera. I wish I could have stayed longer because once I got there I realised how many other cute places would have been worth visiting too.

Customer Travel Tip: Make this city your base for day trips and then move more south to the Salento area. There are great beaches there and it´s also less expensive. While in Salento, make sure to visit Lecce, Otranto, Taranto and the beaches at the very southern part of the peninsula. We wen´t to Porto Selvaggio beach and it was beautiful.
Liked: Good starting point for day trips - you can easily reach the trulli villages, Matera, Monopoli, Polignano...
Disliked: Except the old town (which is quite small), there´s nothing much to see. It´s typical southern city - loud, a bit dirty, hot during summer.

Customer Travel Tip: Best focaccia I have ever had!
Liked: It was not really touristy place so it was perfect for relaxing. IT is so hot during the day that during siesta time the town gets emptied so its perfect for photoshoots with none round. And its easy to people watch. The old town is lovely and its possible to get lost which can be a great way of meeting local people. Bari is a perfect spot for visiting the nearby towns and villages like Arbelobello.
Disliked: The beach is not that great and there is little night life.

Customer Travel Tip: Don't bother.
Liked: Nothing. I was mostly treated with indifference by the people in that town. I didn't feel welcomed at all.
Disliked: The people. I felt like they were small town people who didn't go outside of the town that much and were very judgmental and unfamiliar with change.

Customer Travel Tip: Go to the tomb of st. Nicholas and, if you have time, attend a mass over the tomb. They might open the gates and let you get very close. Also, go to the gift shop and check out the Myrrh that comes from Nicholas' bones.

Disliked: The restaurants are a little expensive. It is difficult to get to the city.
