Customer Travel Tip: Roads are not the most hygeinic and traffic is loud. So love at first sight is not a phenomenon to be associated with the city; takes a day or 2 for your mind to get acclimatised. But then the city really opens up to you! For acco - Zostel is the place to stay. Read hostel review for further details Cheers and have a lot of Banarasi mauj masti! :)
Liked: This ancient city takes you back to the time when people were not disconnected from each other's lives and even their own. Places of great historical importance lay scattered in every nook and corner of the city. Time seems to slow down here moving at its own sweet Banarasi pace, allowing you to soak in the city's rich elements. This peripherally perplexing city truly is a microcosm of India!
Disliked: Nothing in particular

Customer Travel Tip: Stay at International Travellers' Hostel. If you come here during summertime, try to make most of your trips in the early morning, as it is not that hot then. Wintertime is a better time to come though. Definately get on a boat trip for the sunrise, it's worth getting up early.
Liked: It's a city full of traditions and spiritual meanings. It is great to see the ghats along the Ganges and take a boat trip. More easy going than places like Delhi etc. The mangos are especially delicious here.
Disliked: Very chaotic, the weather at this time of the year is awful, and it is very dirty. Ghats and other important places are not well maintained.
